Absolutely!! What would you like to do?? You have an OBD2 truck so anything is possible because the ecm can be reprogrammed easily!!

5.7L Hemi, CNC ported heads with oversize valves, 11-1 compression ratio, Custom Comp Cam, Custom Ross pistons, Eagle rods, 6.1L crank, Dual quads, Cryo treated rockertrain with custom rocker locks and hold downs, Remote mounted coils with MSD Hemi6, SOON TO COME 150hp N2O, ETC, ETC in a 68 cuda

im looking to make a 400-500 hp street engine. ive got most everything lined up for purchase. although im still not sure which heads would work with my choice of block. i found a 360 stroked out to a 408 through Indy Cylinder Heads. here's the link to the pdf page that it's on. http://www.indyheads.com/images/p_pge/price7.pdf
tell me if you have any ideas on what heads would work with this bottom end

It sounds good but just a few tips, I don't know if you know this or not. You have to use a 360 Magnum block. The early blocks don't have the motor mounts in the same place as the later magnum blocks. Magnum engines oil through the pushrods not through the rockers like the early blocks did so, your choice of cylinder heads and rocker train have to be for magnum engines. The compression will be too high with the indy engine built the way they have it advertised. Magnum heads only have between 60cc and 59cc chambers so you need bigger dishes. Indy cylinder head is an awsome place but also try Hughes engines. http://www.hughesengines.com They have some wicked stuff for a magnum engine also. For a 500hp + engine you are going to need to use cnc ported edelbrock aluminum magnum cylinder heads with big valves, no more than 10.5-1 compression for running pump gas and a big cam like Hughes engine's HER3642ALN so emissions legal is out the window, and a 3500 stahl converter, a big throttle body with mopar's single plane intake manifold or Hughes engines Magnum FI air gap with oversize injectors. You will also need headers and at least a 2.5" dual exhaust system. The 400hp + engine will take slightly less work and modifications. Stock edelbrock magnum heads, same compression, and at least the HER1828ALN cam with a 1.7 rockers and the FI dual plane. A large thottlebody, bigger injectors etc etc. Tell me what you like or call Hughes or Indy and they will taylor the combination to your demands. Joe

Yes, so you could use all of your stuff off of the 318 with exception of the torque converter and damper (Balanced special for a stock magnum 360) The older 360 has different motor mount ears on it. 1993-2001 mabe 2002? Magnum block. Note: in the magnum engines book from Chrysler it states that they can be bored safely to .020 over stock unless they are sonic checked and are found they are capable of .030. It shouldn't be a big deal to find one. I rebuilt the 360 in my 1994 PU and it cleaned up at .020 no problem after 160,000 miles.

ok so exactly what are you talking about resusing? are you meaning motor mounts and stuff, or engine parts such as the intake and such? because if im going to spend the money to get the block, im going to go ahead and buy a new intake and other things
