I recently put on andTOOK OFF the Novi 1200 S/C kit from GSM. Here's why: The instructions for the kit were very incomplete. I had to figure out how to hook up the air flow sensor, the oil filler neck breather tube, the boost relief valve, the 1/2 inch space between the mounting bracket and the block, and the vaccum line to the controller. NONE OF THIS WAS IN THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!!!!! AT FIRST THE TRUCK RAN TOO RICH and the tech at GSM said the controller could not make the truck run rich. DEAD WRONG. The vaccum to the controller fixed most of that. He failed to mention, "is the controller hooked to a vaccum? I thought the tube coming out was a breather line. After spending A $1000 in supplies an attemted tunes AND $5300 for the kit, I ended up with no more than 3 pounds of "Erratic" boost due to belt slippage and no fix. WHEN I TOOK THE KIT OFF, NOT ONE PART WAS LOOSE ARE INSTALLED WRONG. I was informed that if I would have been able to get the boost to be stable at 6 lbs, THAT EVENTUALLY the engine would have broke due the auxillory injectors being at the back of the manifold causing the front cylinders to run lean. I thought about using the SMT 6 controller and 8 injectors to get rid of the auxillory injectors and the GSM controller. I thought of a way to fix the belt slip problem. From what I read and heard, I would have broke the engine as so many others have that continue running the GSM KIT. THANKS ALOT GSM!!!!!!!!!!!!
