Milodon 160 Degree High-Flow RACING Thermostat for 5.7 / 6.1 HEMI
This high flow racing thermostat is recommended for racing applications who need colder HEMI engine temperatures. Milodon thermostats are engineered to warm your 5.7L or 6.1L engine to a proper operating temperature without making it run hot enough to lose power. Also, the "Balanced Sleeve" design equalizes the pressures exerted on the thermostat. This counters the undesired effect of increased flow from a high-volume water pump, which actually tends to hold a stat closed.
For Race Use Only!This thermostat is designed for race and highly modified cars Only. Do not use it on stock or daily driver vehicles. Due to the lower operating temperatures it is recommended to use a manual fan switch in conjnction with this thermostat. Not recommended for use in temps below 50 degrees F.
