BWoody Performance HEMI 6.1L / 5.7L Manual Belt Tensioner

Here is a belt tensioner for the HEMI Challenger amd LX that won't break or throw belts, by Bwoody Performance. Throwing the belt on the HEMI is a common problem once you install a supercharger, even breaking the OEM tensioner and the dayco is know to happen with a supercharged HEMI engien. We have even expenienced some stroker builds throwing the belt due to the massive torque the HEMI puts out. Basically why the HEMI throws the belt is under boost the OEM spring loaded tensioner actually tightens up, once you decelerate the belt creates slack in it (we have witnessed on the dyno almost 1 1/2 inch slack during deceleration). This is a manual tensioner simply torque to the desired tension and tighten up it's that easy! All hardware and instructions are included. Simply bolt on and save money on those expensive gatorbacks.
