Arrington Performance now offers a carbon fiber cold air intake for the 2011 and 2012 Dodge Challenger RT with 5.7L HEMI engines. It is one of the first on the market which is fully compatible with the new 5.7L motors. This system features a carbon fiber intake tube, a powder coated sheet metal air box, and a high flow performance air filter. The assembly was designed to attach using the included throttle body elbow. To reduce intake temperatures, the kit utilizes an enclosed air box design. While the high velocity stack inlet radius improves air flow.
Like our other Arrington Performance cold air intake systems, this Dodge Challenger intake kit was purpose built to increase horsepower and torque on late model HEMI engines. By incorporating the venturi effect the intake system is able to improve aerodynamic swirl and increase air intake velocity. This swirl forces more air through the throttle body, through the intake manifold, which in turn feeds greater amounts of air into the engine. The result is improved HEMI engine efficiently and more power.
NOTE: This unit is designed to fit the upgraded Arrington Performance 85mm throttle body.
