2011–2012 Challenger 392 HEMI Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake
Arrington Performance now offers a carbon fiber cold air intake for the 2011 and 2012 Dodge Challenger with 392 equipped with 6.4L HEMI engines. It is one of the first on the market which is fully compatible with the new 392 motors. This system features a carbon fiber intake tube, a powder coated sheet metal air box, and a high flow performance air filter. The assembly was designed to attach to the stock throttle body elbow. To reduce intake temperatures, the kit utilizes an enclosed air box design. While the high velocity stack inlet radius improves air flow.
Like our other Arrington Performance cold air intake systems, this kit was purpose built to increase horsepower and torque on late model 392 HEMI Challenger engines. By incorporating the venturi effect the intake system is able to improve aerodynamic swirl and increase air intake velocity. This swirl forces more air through the throttle body, through the intake manifold, which in turn feeds greater amounts of air into the engine. The result is improved HEMI engine efficiently and more power.
NOTE: This unit is designed to fit the stock 80mm or upgraded 85mm with the stock throttle body elbow. It is not compatible with the Arrington 90mm high volume cobra head elbow.
