Robb's 392 HEMI Powered, Magnuson Supercharged 2015 RAM 2500 Truck!
If Robb's truck was a RAM 1500, this posting would be routine -- add a 6 psi Magnuson supercharger to the 5.7L HEMI V8 engine and gain 80-100HP. And the tuning has been available for a while. But no, Robb wanted to upgrade his RAM 2500 with the 6.4L engine. That is anything but routine.
Already sporting the most power and torque available in a RAM truck (except diesel), the 2500 with the 6.4L V8 is a great performer with a lot of pull. Since we always find a way to add power to a HEMI, we took Robb's challenge and figured out a way. Using the RAM 1500 kit, we adjusted the hose lengths and worked on the brackets to make the 2500 look great and perform great.
Then we had to tackle the programming. Extra heavy-duty construction of the truck components apparently means extra heavy-duty code in the PCM. Our calibration experts dove right in and came up with a smooth solution with lots of power. Robb now owns the first supercharged 2500 with a HEMI 392 on the road (as far as we know).
