Q: Hi - any idea on what a guy would have to do to put one of these into an E-Body, 1970 Barracuda convertible? I'm curious as to any modifications I would have to do with suspension, brakes, electrical, fuel delivery, etc. Any info would be helpful.

A: We are in the process of putting a 6.1 into a 69 Barracuda. Many of the choices about suspension, brakes, electrics etc. are yours since you decide on how much “original” stuff you want. If your car had heavy-duty suspension, you may be all set event though kits are available (we are using a Mustang suspension); modern brakes are much better and available. You will need an electric fuel pump with sufficient pressure for the engine. We are using FAST for the engine control.
